Amanda Zilla is a digital humanities academic. Her research interests include narratology, transmedial narratives, lived experiences in "multiple realities", narrative ethics, and virtual reality and artificial intelligence. 

It is her hope that her work positively contributes to minimizing the digital divide between Developing & Developed nations and influences the incorporation of bleeding-edge technology and media into operations across many fields regionally, and internationally.
